Halcyon Barrel House - 7 Years Bad Luck

Hoppy, fruity, funk

Double Brett I.P.A. • 7.4% ABV

Halcyon Barrel House is a new branch on the Beau's family tree. New world brewing, patiently rooted in the old world traditions of mixed fermentation and aging in wood barrels, and bottle or keg conditioning.

7 Years Bad Luck is 7.4 % double I.P.A. that is primary-fermented with brettanomyces. Organic Idaho 7 and Mosaic hops are new to the profile, which also includes Amarillo and Nelson-Sauvin. The aroma is freshly hoppy, with tropical fruit dominant, and lighter notes of grassy meadows and wildflowers. It tastes juicy, with ripe fruit, citrus and pine. The finish wicks with warming alcohol and hop bitterness.
